The movie "Komatha En Kulamatha" (கோமாதா என் குலமாதா) revolves around the unbreakable bond between pet lover Vijaya (Pramila) an orphan and the Cow (Laxmi). Arun (Srikanth), a womanizer and an alcoholic, comes to Vijaya's village and tries to molest her. He is caught and sent behind bars for two months. On his release, he pretends to have turned over a new leaf and tricks Vijaya into marrying him. Laxmi ensures to protect Vijaya (Pramila) and keeps her safe. The rest of the story is all about how Laxmi supports Vijaya throughout the ordeal and helps transform Arun into a good person.
